We are looking for writers to put together high-quality short romance stories. A length of 5000-10000 words is our sweet spot.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS:

- Original work not published elsewhere.

- While your english does need to be readable it doesn't need to be perfect. We have an editor.

- You grant us a license to use the book in any way and be the exclusive publisher of the book. We will require you to signing a licensing agreement and non disclosure agreement.

- 5,000 to 10,000 words is the ideal length. Please submit a bid for 7500 words

- Books should be enjoyable and easy to read rather than dense and intimidating. This doesn't mean that they should be simple or they need to be funny, we're just looking for a writing style that is friendly and accessible.

- You will need the ability to build characters through action (not silent monologue), good solid writing style, the ability to plot, understanding of story, and the ability to use conflict within a story.

- You will need to submit 3-5 title ideas with each book. In addition to a 100-200 word short general description.

- This is important. You will need to submit your OWN ideas. We will NOT be telling you what to write. Again, we are looking for romance novels. We are open to the idea of a series - say as an example an on going 20, 30 40 book series of shorter books (5000 words).

- Price is very important to us. If you are a writer looking to put out one book a month and make a lot of money from it, this likely isn't for you. We are looking for people who LOVE and LIVE to write.

INCLUDE WITH YOUR BID

- At the very top of your bid have the number "99" written. This is to prove that your read our job description.

- Please provide examples of previous work. If you do not provide examples of your previous work we will NOT consider your bid. Your examples do not need to be romance books.. Simply looking to see examples of grammar and writing style.

- Please submit a bid for 7500 words but also just to confirm include a per word rate in your proposal.

- Please let us know approximately how many books you can write per month. Use the average of say 7,500 words. So as an example if you say, I can do 4 books per month - thats roughly 30,000 words. So if you come up with the idea of a series and the average book is 5,000 words - you should be able to deliver 6 per month.

We will be hiring multiple writers for this job.
